If you want great food, then come to Bibis

If you haven't been to Bibis you are really missing out. They are located off the main road on a quiet estate called Emorville ave in Portobello. Its an enclosed estate off the SCR and it is very easy to miss if you dont know the area. I first came across Bibis when i was renting near by and I noticed groups of people constantly walking by my flat towards their building.I decided to go there and find out what all the fuss was about and ive been hooked ever since.

Their breakfast tea was the nicest tea ive ever tasted and they serve you a large pot which can be easily shared with two people. Also if you really like the tea, you can buy a bag of tea as well from them at a reasonable price considering its quality. For breakfast I would recommend their granola. Its not listed as a main dish but its very filling and can easily be eaten as a breakfast meal. Their coffee is also very popular and you can get a takeaway. For lunch or brunch Ive regularly ordered their ham and cheese sandwich. Its absolutely gorgeous and if you are visiting Bibis for the first time and are expecting just a plain ham and cheese sandwich you will be pleasantly surprised when you are served probably the best sandwich in Dublin. Their Turkish eggs are very popular and for good reason -  its Delicious. The avocado dish with sourdough bread is very tasty and if your a lover of avocados then its a must.

But be warned, the place is packed during lunch time on weekdays and also its packed all day during weekends. If you arrive their and its full, you have the option of leaving your telephone number with a member off staff and they will ring you when theres a table available. If you dont have the time, you will have to come early. The service for the staff is excellent and they are very friendly. You wont have to wait too long for your food even when its busy. One of the reasons people keep coming back for more is the atmosphere. Bibis isn't like your average dull cafe or restaurant, its has a great city vibe which enhances the experience. They have a lot of competition in the area but the crowds keep coming and why not. If you want great food, then come to Bibis.
