Bibis cafe Portobello
A cosy cafe
If
you haven't been to Bibis you are really missing out. They are located off the
main road on a quiet estate called Emorville ave in Portobello. Its an enclosed
estate off the SCR and it is very easy to miss if you dont know the area. I
first came across Bibis when i was renting near by and I noticed groups of
people constantly walking by my flat towards their building.I decided to go
there and find out what all the fuss was about and ive been hooked ever since.

But be warned, the place is packed during lunch time on weekdays and also its
packed all day during weekends. If you arrive their and its full, you have the option
of leaving your telephone number with a member off staff and they will ring you
when theres a table available. If you dont have the time, you will have to come
early. The service for the staff is excellent and they are very friendly. You
wont have to wait too long for your food even when its busy. One of the reasons
people keep coming back for more is the atmosphere. Bibis isn't like your
average dull cafe or restaurant, its has a great city vibe which enhances the
experience. They have a lot of competition in the area but the crowds keep
coming and why not. If you want great food, then come to Bibis. Please click on the link to see our other blog post about Strand Fare coffe and deli.

I've been to Bibis and their food is delicious. Unfortunately it is very busy at lunch time and weekends.
ReplyDeleteMust try, looks great!
ReplyDeleteWow, that picture of avocado toast looks absolutely delicious and it looks like such a generous portion. Which is hard to come by these days. Portabello is a great area, but very busy and I have never noticed this place before. A trip to Portabello to visit Bibi's and a walk along the canal is on the weekend list. If it's very busy the canal is lovely to walk along while waiting for a table to become available.
ReplyDeleteIf I don't try the avocado toast, I will definitely try the ham and cheese sandwhich as you have made it sound amazing. I am a big fan of the Ham and cheese toastie, so I wonder how it will compete with Mary's Bar on Wicklow Street that are known for their legendary take away ham and cheese toasties at lunch time.
I look forward to venturing a trip to Portabello and giving this hidden gem a try!
This place looks amazing from just looking at the pictures of the food and the description of the establishment. I have to say the avocado on toast looks spectacular and would be a must to try, whenever you are in Bibis. Apart from that the poached eggs also look divine. I am quite intrigued to try this place out because they are acclaimed for having great sandwiches, in which they have elevated to create delicious unique creations.
ReplyDeleteI definitely, appreciate that they serve generous portions and have such accommodating staff. This would benefit them as having good portion size and friendly staff is important in creating customer satisfaction and loyalty. I also prefer going to places that offer a great value for your money, in this case, Bibis is delivering this at an exceptional level and I need to stop by as soon as possible …
Food looks great, can't wait to try.
